Pemberton Township is one of the largest municipalities in Burlington County by area. It borders Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst and includes Browns Mills, Country Lake Estates and other communities, while the small Pemberton Borough sits inside the township along the Rancocas Creek. Much of the township lies in the Pinelands.

Getting around

County roads connect the township to Mount Holly, Route 206 and the base gates. Philadelphia and the Route 70 corridor are a longer drive, so most residents here work on or near the base or in central Burlington County.
