Cherry Hill is one of the largest townships in Camden County and one of South Jersey's well-known suburbs. Its location just across the Delaware River from Philadelphia, with Route 70, Route 38, I-295, the New Jersey Turnpike and PATCO's Woodcrest and Ashland stations, makes it a popular choice for commuters.

The neighborhoods

Cherry Hill grew largely after World War II, so much of its housing is mid-century: ranches, split-levels and colonials in neighborhoods like Kingston, Erlton, Barclay and Woodcrest, along with newer construction, townhouses and condos. Older homes can be great value, but they may need updates. If you want to buy and renovate, ask me about renovation financing, or plan a cash-out refinance once you've built equity.

Commuting

PATCO gets you to Center City Philadelphia without a car, and Route 70, Route 38 and the bridges make driving workable. The Route 70 and Route 38 corridors, including the Cherry Hill Mall area, are major shopping and employment hubs.
